Vote-By-Mail Guide
Voting by mail is an option for voters to cast their ballot prior to Election Day. Voters can request a vote by mail ballot through the mail or in person.
The first day to file an application for a vote by mail ballot with the Election Authority is 6/16/2020.
All requests by mail must be received by the Election Authority by 10/29/2020.
All in-person early voting requests must be made by 11/2/2020.

The Illinois Toll Highway Authority has announced the permanent closure of manual pay lanes on Illinois’ tollways. The announcement comes 2 ½ weeks after State Senators Craig Wilcox (R-McHenry) and Don DeWitte (R-St. Charles) sent a letter to Toll Highway Authority Executive Director Jose Alvarez and Governor Pritzker seeking clarification on several points regarding manual toll booths, and why they remain closed to people who prefer not to purchase an IPASS.
